Amer Abu Matar is a Palestinian multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of architectural design, heritage conservation, and creative direction. He holds a BA and a Master’s degree in architectural design and art directing. His practice focuses on building restoration and adaptive reuse, examining how material culture and collective memory inform contemporary spatial strategies. He has taught in the Design Department at Birzeit University and led cultural and commercial projects across the Mediterranean. Through AAM Studio, he pursues research-informed design and visual narratives that connect architecture with image-making.
Currently based in Greece, Amer is expanding AAM Studio’s footprint across Europe, contributing to a range of commercial and cultural projects that span architecture, film production, and beyond.
